I last played Dragon Age: Origins a few times, I enjoyed it very much. I also played Dragon Age 2 one time, I did not like it so much, I hated the way Ander's character was completely changed from his most original self. I liked the first Anders, not his replacement. I also have little remembrance of the lore, and many of the characters, unfortunately. Personally I would like the "best" ending possible, but perhaps with the notion that "ends do not justify means" in mind. Also, that change and communication is often necessary for new beginnings.

The gameplay looks like generic dogshit.

The Wardens are the only logical choice, they've suffered greatly over the last three games but are still just as necessary as ever, only they can stop the blights and these days it feels like a blight level threat happens every few years instead of every century. If the Veil gets torn down as Solas wants, Thedas will burn without the Wardens to protect it

My story is a bit absurd, didnt continue well, because i killed every single person in the city 😭

I started my Dragon Age Journey in Origins, then played through up until the middle of Inquisition. I was there when the Wardens of Ferelden fell at Ostagar alongside King Cailan because of Loghain and Rendon Howe's treachery. I started my journey as a fledgling Grey Warden, and I will always choose the Wardens as my affiliation.

Cassandra's uncle and father figure is also a Mortalitasi. She seems to have not got along with him. However, it would be interesting to see if that comes up. If Cassandra is the divine in your save file I could imagine that impacting Nevarran politics and by extension the Mortalitasi.

I'm so torn between Shadow Dragons and Veil Jumpers! This is going to be such a hard decision when the game comes out! At least I feel informed now lol!

Ask me 6 years after release when I buy it for $5. Not worth any thought. Zero chance EA has produced value with the remains of the Bioware body they chopped up to feed the investor pigs.

I think we’ll see more of Solas’ major flaws: He never thinks of a far more simpler solution to a societal problem, believes that countless deaths won’t cause any Elves to fear him more than respect him, and that the Elven Mages he imprisoned wouldn’t be looking forward killing him now that they have the chance to do so.

I'm really hoping that Solas communicates with Rook through dreams instead of a disembodied voice. We're in the Fade in The Lighthouse so that makes the most sense to me. This could also explain why we might see what he used to look like, if he's going to walk us through *his* memories.

With the way you put it all together in this video, it's now really starting to take shape in my head, how what we saw from the start of the game and what they said about the theme of regret throughout is going to look like. Seems like the part of himself Solas sees in Rook is how he unintentionally fucked thing up unleashing the two Elvhen, just like how Solas fucked up when creating the veil and limiting access to magic. I can already see the free therapy from Rook (on a good path) working through that and trying to fix things rather than start over and dismissing the status quo and how that will cause Solas to reflect. I can already feel the tears that will flow during some scenes!

Hello Jackdaw would you know or have you got any hints... I was wondering if anyone thought to ask the Devs the following... Will there be a Pre-Order Option for purchasing Veilguard and as a perk or incentive, it will allow you to complete your Character Creation including the Inquisitor, with the Character Creator in advance, so that it is ready to go on Game Launch Date. So not a head start or early access per say, just allow you to create the character and save it so that you can jump right into the experience on day one. I am hoping that this is a possibility since if the Character Creator is as extensive and wonderful as they are hinting, that could us save so much time. It would give so much Hype to the game and it would be nice great salute and gesture to all of us Diehards that have been so patiently awaiting for this installment.

I wouldn't say Lavellan failed. Solas never gave her the chance because he knew it would be easy to let his guard down.

I like the veil jumpers so far, probally use that on my first playthrough.

Wish there was an option to be a loner, who doesn't have much of a connection at the start. That way every faction feels new to the character just like the player.

Wardens are amazing! But in terms of story it seems for me that the Veil Jumpers are the main attraction.

While I have never romanced Solas,, my primary playthrough my Inqi saw him as a close and trusted friend, and one who understood more about what she was going through more than any of the other companions, except Blackwall (who she was romancing). His betrayal hit me like a truck. I honestly have no idea how my Rook will take to Solas - and that's kind of exciting!

I think faction choice may also affect approval of party members

Even though Solas is a stubborn idiot, I don't think I could bring myself to let him die if there's a way to save him.
